of vendors, treats and trinkets for every attendee.

product you can use in your scrapbooks.

What Can I Expect for Meals?
- Friday - Dinner - pot luck. Usually some type of theme to make
your choices easy.
- Saturday – at least 2 meals are provided. The menu is TBD but
will be provided prior to the event.
- Sunday – breakfast is provided. Menu is TBD.
- Please bring your own beverages or any other snacks you may
want for the weekend. There will be refrigeration available to keep
stuff cold.
What can I expect for accommodations?
Depending on where the retreat is held, accommodations are provided.
- Y-camp – Cabins have two bathrooms and sleep up to 12 people.
Twin size bunk beds with mattresses are available in every cabin.
There is enough space for everyone to have a bottom bunk. Each
attendee is responsible for bringing bedding and toiletries.
- Cropportunties2 – If you are planning on staying onsite, there is a
small cabin with a few beds or you can bring your own tent or
camper. There is lots of room to set up and hook ups are available
too.
What can I expect for a workspace?
- Seating will be very loosely assigned. Please identify who you
would like to sit with when you register.
- You will have at least half of an 8' round table with room around
you for your tote bags or containers. No need to worry about what
time you need to arrive, you workspace will be waiting for you.
- Not everyone can be seated next to an outlet, so if you plan to
bring things that need to be plugged in, be sure to bring extension
cords and be prepared to not be able to use them exclusively all
weekend.
How do I prepare for the retreat?
- In order to maximize your cropping time, I suggest having your
album project goals in mind. For instance, plan and prepare the
specific pages/photos you will be working on by having the photos
organized and ready to scrapbook along with the supplies needed
to put together these pages.
- At the retreat, the combined creativity of you and the other
croppers near you will generate fabulous ideas for your layouts.
When you are really stuck, there will be a whole room full of very
qualified people to offer suggestions.
- Bring only what you need. Take advantage of the cutting tools
provided.
Is it safe to leave my supplies overnight?
- Your workspace is yours for the weekend. We will be the only
people on site for the weekend. I trust all the croppers attending
the retreat and I do everything in my power to make sure things
are secure.
- However the main cropping room is not locked at any time during
the weekend. Please keep any valuable items with you.
- Amy / Cropportunities2 cannot be held responsible for your
belongings.
What should I bring?
Bring as much of your own cropping supplies and equipment as you feel
like hauling. For a more enjoyable experience, don’t over load.
- Comfy clothes. Bring along a sweater or sweatshirt. Don’t forget
your PJs and comfy slippers. Dress in layers, we don’t always have
a lot of control over the temperature of the room. It should remain
pretty constant, but what is comfortable for one may be too hot or
cold for another.
- Seat Cushion (chairs can get hard after a few hours)
- Camera (to take pictures of your new friends and remember all the
fun you had).
- Cash or checkbook– Scrapbook products will be available for
purchase throughout the weekend or to pay for a little pampering
from or massage therapist. I will not be able to accept credit or
debit cards this year.
- Snacks and Beverage of your Choice. Refrigerator is available for
you to store your snacks and beverages.
- Album covers to be embossed.
- iPod or portable DVD player. It is a large room and we will have a
radio, but that is no guarantee you will like what is being played.
- If staying overnight, please bring all your own bedding, toiletries,
towels, etc.
Above all, bring a great attitude.
