What’s on the Camp Agenda?
  • Classes/Make and Takes/Break out Sessions – whatever you want to call them. These
are for anyone that wants to participate.  At designated times throughout the weekend I
will have projects for you to make. Each project will use a technique you can use in your
    scrapbooks.

  • Album Embossing – I will have the album embosser with us. If you know you have albums
you want embossed, please print out an order form and have it ready when you arrive. I
will be asking for albums on Friday in order to get them all done before you leave.

  • Massage Therapist – I don't have this confirmed yet, but am expecting Holly to be on site
on Saturday.  She will have a sign up sheet available. Prices will be available at camp.

  • Tools – a large array of tools available for your use including:
  • Sizzix Side Kick and Big Kick - Several sizzlet alphabets and other dies.
  • Tonic Trimmers - Cut anything from photos to chipboard easily.
  • Other tools - Variety of punches, decorative scissors, templates, tearing rulers,
    and crimpers.
  • Idea Library - all the latest scrapbook magazine issues and several other
    scrapping books to supply inspiration.

  • Games and prizes – I have some new surprises for fall camp, sure to make the weekend
    interesting.

  • Contests – I will once again be having a “Favorite Page Contest”. On Saturday evening I
will have everyone pick their favorite page created at camp to be voted on by your peers
    for a fabulous prize!

The Retreat will give you an opportunity to complete LOTS of pages. I will have a nice

What Can I Expect for Meals?
We always have way more food to eat then we know what to do with. Back by popular demand,
Great Expectations will be catering for us all weekend. Menu TBD.

Please bring beverages and any snacks you want to have throughout the weekend. There are
refrigerators available to keep things cold.  Please let us know if you have any special
nutritional needs.

Your Workspace
Seating will be very loosely assigned. Please let us know when you register if you want to be
seated next to someone. You will have half a 8' round table with room around you for your tote
bags or containers. No need to worry about what time you need to arrive, you workspace will
be waiting for you.

How do I prepare for the retreat?
In order to maximize your cropping time, I suggest having your album project goals in mind. For
instance, plan and prepare the specific pages/photos you will be working on by having the
photos organized and ready to scrapbook along with the supplies needed to put together
these pages.

At the retreat, the combined creativity of you and the other croppers near you will generate
fabulous ideas for your layouts. When you are really stuck, there will be a whole room full of
very qualified people to offer suggestions.

Is it safe to leave my supplies in the crop room overnight during the full retreat?
Your workspace is yours for the weekend. We will be the only people on site for the weekend. I
trust all the croppers attending the retreat and I do everything in our power to make sure
things are secure however the cropping center is not locked at any time during the weekend.
Please keep any valuable items with you.  Amy / Cropportuntities cannot be held responsible
for your belongings.

What should I bring?
  • Bring as much of your own cropping supplies and equipment as you feel like hauling.
For a more enjoyable experience, don’t over load.
  • Comfy clothes. Bring along a sweater or sweatshirt (layered is best because of
fluctuating temperatures in the cropping room). Don’t forget your PJs and comfy slippers.
  • Ear Plugs (important if you are bothered by snorers – LOL)
  • Seat Cushion (chairs can get hard after a few hours)
  • Camera (to take pictures of your new friends and remember all the fun you had).
  • Cash or checkbook– Scrapbook products will be available for purchase throughout the
weekend or to pay for a little pampering from or massage therapist.  I will not be able to
accept credit or debit cards this year.
  • Snacks and Beverage of your Choice. Refrigerator is available for you to store your
    snacks and beverages.
  • Album covers to be embossed.
  • iPod or portable DVD player. It is a large room and we will have a radio, but that is no
guarantee you will like what is being played.
  • All your bedding and toiletries. The beds are a little hard, so a little extra padding will
make for a more comfortable sleep.
  • Light – the light in the cropping center is good, but only if you are directly under a light.
If you like a lot of light while you crop, bring a light for your work station.
  • Above all, bring a great attitude.
  • Not everyone can be seated next to an outlet, so if you plan to bring things that need to
be plugged in, be sure to bring extension cords as well.

Facility
Each cabin has bunk beds and sleeps up to 10-14. Each cabin has two bathrooms with stall
showers. Cabin assignments will be made by Cropportunities. First come, first serve for beds.
Campers need to provide own bedding and toiletries.
